half-a-day or full-day Courses are called for in all the fields linked to Human-Computer Interaction with particular interest to those concerning the use of the Internet or of new media. The subjects can tackle both theoretical and practical aspects, and the participants can be either beginners or experts. People will be paid for. They must attend the Conference and the allowances paid to them for their courses may be deducted from their registration fees. Each proposal must include:
  • The title and a date for a half-day or full-day course (two half-a-day consecutive courses are prefered to full-day ones).  
  • Name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, institutional professional references, a short resume for each person (250 words as a maximum) emphasizing his/her abilities in the task performing.
  • A short description of the course (250 words as a maximum) which will be published on the draft programme and used for advertising.
  • A 2-page description of the course (format de la conférence), published among the enclosures of the Conference proceedings.
  • A document including the minutes of the presentation and the interaction methods to be used.
  • Should the course have been given before -or a similar one, a few samples of the materials for the presentation can be included, with a mention of the way they will be adapted to the public. “Camera ready” versions of the lesson notes will be asked for before the Conference is held.
